Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We do a FREE home comfort evaluation and give an estimate for recommended work at the end of it. Our process is a no pressure information one. Our job is to educate you about what is happening in your home. What you decide to do from there is up to you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our estimators have been thoroughly trained and have earned the highly esteemed title of "Certified Home Comfort Specialist" through the Dr. Energy Saver National Contractor Network.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Each customer and home is unique to us. We do not have a "one size fits all" solution and our pricing is unique to your individual needs.
How did you get started in this business?
One of our owners, Justin Dobson, once owned an HVAC company in which he saw a need in the marketplace for a true home performance company that fixes uncomfortable homes. HVAC companies service, repair, and replace HVAC equipment but most do not address the duct work that delivers the heated and cooled air to where it's desired, and none of them address the building envelope that keeps the conditioned air inside of the home.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with all types of customers and all types of homes.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your research but also let a professional explain and SHOW you what is going on inside of your home.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do I have any hot or cold spots in my home?
Do I have moisture or mold anywhere in my home?
Do I have any drafty areas?
Is my HVAC running 24/7?
Do I have any odd smells inside of my home?
Do I have high energy bills?
