We would typically either do a through over the phone, online or on site survey and inventory, then provide a written quote based on the information gathered.

30 years experience in the Moving and Storage industry. Member of Virginia Movers and Warehousemans Association and American Moving and Storage Association.

We typically charge flat rate prices for single items and hourly rates for multiple items and households or offices.
How did you get started in this business?
I was a musician working in a local music store in the late 19902. We sold and delivered our own pianos. After learning the proper technique and moving pianos for a few years, I started my own moving company.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Get at least 3 estimates from reputable companies and go with the one you trust to move your belongings, not necessarily the cheapest one.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The more accurate the details and planning, the more successful the move will go in my experience. Accurate inventory and preparation lead to a smooth move.
