About
I turn NO dog away for any behavior. My training is ideal for dog owners struggling with dogs that act out behaviors considered unwanted or aggressive. My training is all-natural. I do not believe in the use of shock, prong, or choker collars.

Our dog was guarding his food and aggressive towards other people and dogs. We tried training with a big name here in NOVA with little improvement, talked to vet, and behaviorist. This was our last effort to correct his behavior and it made all the difference by understanding how dogs operate and the order of our pack. We didn’t use a shock or stem collar and it wasn’t bags of treats either. It was a simple method that dogs understand and Kody turned into the most well behaved dog we have ever owned, We as humans needed to be trained in order to train our dog. This was the only method that worked and it’s so simple and effective!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For $399 you receive the complete PackSense training & format instructional documents, one (1) all-natural training collar, two (2) home training sessions with me (2 hours each), three (3) months unlimited email, phone, and Zoom support.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I developed the PackSense training technique & format and proved my evidence based theory called the Laws of Pack over 20 years of professionally providing natural behavior modification training services to owners of dogs that act out behaviors considered unwanted, aggressive, dangerous, or even vicious. I have modified over 3000 dogs using my PackSense technique & format and teaching the Laws of Pack.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes. the dog owner receives both behavior modification and obedience training for one price, $399.
How did you get started in this business?
In 2005 I had a friend whose dog was accused of being dangerous in Fairfax County. I was amazed at how poorly understood was dog behavior and in particular how dog behavior was humanized by county animal experts. This sets every dog and their owner up for failure. That's when I decided to set up a business that sets dogs and their owners up for success in our ever-complex environments.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My clients are owners of dogs that are typically between 6 moths - 2 years of age and in need of what is popularly known as "manners" training for their dog. In general, my clients are dealing with dogs that are actively acting out behaviors considered unwanted, aggressive, or dangerous.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Working with a family that was struggling with the prospect of giving their dog up for behavior issues, and providing the knowledge, training, and support that completely changed their perspective.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
No one else can behaviorally modify your dog for you. You must ultimately do the behavior modification training with no trainer present. If that is not the focus of the training, your dog will just go right back to its business as usual and act out the behaviors that made you reach out to a dog trainer in the first place.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
You should ask about their training methods. Positive reinforcement methods typically use treats and are proven ineffective for modifying behaviors considered unwanted, aggressive, or dangerous. All other methods are put into a method category called aversive which offer no behavior science in their use. Not very appealing choices. With positive reinforcement methods failing dog owners and left with only aversive methods, that is why I created PackSense training. It is neither positive nor aversive, just NATURAL.
