We treat all of our furry friends like they should be treated.... like GOLD! ..We provide in your home pet care service. We know some pets just do better in their own environment.
We also provide in our home boarding for dogs. We don't crate unless you request crating. They get free roam of the house and yard. We have lots of play time, love time, daily fresh water & food, daily walks, we even provide the food. Blue buffalo. Which ever environment you prefer them in we give excellent care to all of our furry friends.
The different personalities of each one of our furry friends. Makes each day a different day. Each furry friend of mine holds a very special spot in my heart. I love it when I can bring a dog or cat out of their shell. I love it when my pet owners tell me how excited their pet gets when they turn on my street! Or when the pet owner says my name and their pets ears go up. They get super excited when they see me. I give each one of my furry pets 110% of great care! I always go the extra mile for each pet and their pet owners. My goal is to give pet parents a peace of mind when they leave out of town. That my furry friends are happy. That makes me happy! I have many references. Call me to set up a free initial meet and greet there is no obligation. I come and meet with you and your furry baby or you come visit with me. Depending on what service your requesting? Whether it's in my home care or your home care.
leave me a VM or a text message. You get a quicker response doing it that way. I get a lot of solicitor calls, so unless I know who it is I won't answer. I don't like to be on my phone while doing outside sits. It interferes with my sit and that's not what my pet parents pay me for. They pay me to be spending my time with their furry babies.

we will provide food when boarding with us. Unless you prefer they stay on their own diet. Then you provide it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to do a meet & greet with all of my new clients. If they want their dog to stay with me at my place then they come to my place with their dog so they can see if it’s suitable for their furry loved one. If they would prefer their pets to stay in the comfort of their own home then I will go to their home to meet with the pet owner and their beloved pets.
Rates are charged accordingly to their wishes.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
ive eduacated myself online with just about every dog out there. To find out known behaviors. Whether they are indoor/outdoor accumulated. I am pet CPR certified. I also am very well educated with administering meds/shots. I have over 20 yrs experience working with dogs/cats, birds, fish, hamsters, horses, goats. I love being around and learning about all animals. I’m fascinated with there intellectuall behaviors. How they relate to humans is remarkable.

Yes I do,
in my home care
small dogs $22
med dogs $28
large dogs $30
$5 xtra for medications administered
$5 xtra for weekend drop offs and pick ups.
$2 for after 5 pm pickups/drop offs per hour that your late. Unless there is an agreement with pet owner and myself.
In their home care
$20-$25 per visits
depemding on the amount of pets pet owner has. If over 3 pets it’s an extra $2 per pet.

How did you get started in this business?
I always wanted to take care of people’s pets while they are away. I tried once just to see if I could do it. In 2007 my husband who is a construction worker saw a lady walking a Beagle. We happen to have a Beagle ourselves. The next day he asked me if I wanted to go to work with him. Reluctantly I did! We saw that lady walking the beagle that day as well. My husband didn’t think it was a beagle because he was a black beagle and ours was a red beagle. I debated with him that he was a beagle & we left it at that. The next day he actually stopped and asked the gal if it was a beagle and she said “I believe he is s beagle, but he isn’t mine . I’m pet sitting him”. And my husband said “pet sitting? That’s something my wife would love to do.” She said “she could use some extra help” and gave him her card. And there you have it! She helped me with everything. And I am proud to say I am my own owner of Golden Paws pet sitting service.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Wonderful customers! who love their furry pets. My customers and their pets are my family. I not only develop a great relationship with all my furry friends but with their wonderful pet parents as well.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am fond of all the events that are animal related. Like the costume pet contest at Halloween time. I like all the strut your mutt fundraisers. Like humane society events they have troughout the year. The pet pool party at Alta recreation in the fall. The milk bone Easter hunt and prize give aways and the list goes on.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
my advise to a customer looking for a pro would be to
1. Years of experience with animals.
2. Back ground check to make sure they have no criminal background.
3. Make sure they have a list of referrals and to make sure they call them to find out if they are satisfied with the pet sitter.
4. Trustworthy is a must
5. Dependability and reliability is also a must.
6. Interview more than just one potential and think it through before deciding whom you would like.
7. Always ,always do a meet & greet!
8. See how well your pets and the care giver relate to one another..
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
They need to think through on whether their pet will do better in their own environment or in a boarding situation? Each pet is different and you don’t want them to be stressed out if your pet/pets seem stressed out before you leave. That makes for an unpleasant trip for the pet parent. We treat all of our furry friends like GOLD no matter the situation. We cater to their needs.
