Doggy's Big Day

Doggy’s Big Day, founded in 2013 and based in Murray, UT, provides dog walking, group adventure hikes, and pet sitting across the central Salt Lake Valley, including Salt Lake City (mid-valley), Murray, Midvale, Millcreek, Holladay, Cottonwood Heights, North Sandy, and West Jordan. The company is licensed, bonded, and insured, and every team member is trained and certified in pet first aid and CPR.

Services include group off-leash adventure hikes with pick-up and drop-off, neighborhood walks, and in-home care. Pet sitting options include overnights in the client’s home and boarding in a sitter’s home. Dogs joining group hikes are evaluated for compatibility, and handlers are trained in off-leash supervision. Clients receive photo and video updates after each hike.

Published rates include $35 per adventure hike for the first dog ($25 for each additional from the same home), in-home pet sitting starting at $125 per night (up to three pets, plus $5 per additional pet), and boarding starting at $85 per 24-hour period for one pet ($50 per additional pet).

Doggy’s Big Day also offers in-person Pet First Aid & CPR classes at $125 per person, including a 72-page booklet and a two-year certificate, with on-site training available for local businesses. Inquiries typically receive a same-business-day response during weekday hours.
