I love all animals. I have rescue several dogs cats Turtles Birds squirrels bunnies. I have been a groomer for 28 years. I am great with scared and misunderstood pets.I did not get into the breeding of animals because there are to many animals that are euthanized everyday. I went to all breed dog and cat grooming in Phoenix Arizona I have been grooming since 1989 I was trying to handle scared and abused animals am I training I use the clicking noise and that works great for me
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I go on the size and the type of hair of the animal like a chihuahua would be $ 20 but a Yorkie would be $ 25for a bath and brush $40 for the haircut now if the Yorkie has long hair now that all depends on if the hair is Tangled but we can discuss that once I examine the hair. A lab bath and brush would be $25 a lab shave down will be $55. cats normally start $ 20 short hair $35 for long hair all shave Downs $55
How did you get started in this business?
Went to school I've always loved animals I've always had a passion for saving them in front of them good homes and I need a job that would be flexible since I was a single mom with two children
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with very wealthy very poor from all types of backgrounds and I have no problem and helping them and teaching them how to take care of their pets and I also educate them on spaying and neutering I'm a big believer of that
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I like the dogs day out at Hawaiian Falls everybody gets to bring their pets and all proceeds goes to the to the local shelters
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a company in your area of expertise?
I encourage all my clients to meet the groomer with your dog there look at the establishment and make sure that they require vaccinations because a sickness is very hard on their pet and it's easy to not think that oh it's just a dog no like children do they have to be vaccinated
What questions should customers think through before talking to companies about their needs?
If you want your dog out very quickly you need to specify that if you want your dog to stay there cuz you're having the maid over or the pest control people come over tell us that is my most complained I get is that their dog is there too long so you need to specify when you would like to pick up your dog
