Bo Ballard Moving Services
About
Bo Ballard Moving Services is a Locally Owned and Operated, Full Service Moving Company that offers Local as well as Nationwide Service. We are not a franchise or a subsidiary of a nation-wide company and we do not use labor and staffing services. We are truly a local company and our values, work ethic and prices directly reflect that fact. We run two trucks and typically schedule only a couple of moves per day, which allows us maximum flexibility with regard to each customer’s needs. We work quickly, carefully and make the very most of truck and storage space. We’re insured and we’re very careful in your home and with your things, but most importantly we’re responsible for ourselves and our actions. We would be honored to serve you and we will endeavor to exceed your expectations.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we'd like to come to a customer's home in order to present an accurate estimate. This is of course done at no charge and at the customer's convenience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have owned and operated a moving company for almost 20 years. Just about every other job I've worked has prepared me in some way to manage packing, moving and delivery teams.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For a 2 man crew on a local job we charge $100/hour plus a $100 setup fee, which covers our truck, fuel, equipment, mileage and such. We do not have a minimum, as most companies do.
How did you get started in this business?
My best friend and I started moving people with rental trucks while we were still in high school. One thing led to another and now I'm the proud owner of the most exceptional moving company in the state of Oklahoma.
What types of customers have you worked with?
There is no job to small for us and we haven't run into one too big yet either!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask each prospective mover how their company deals with damages to your furniture. Our practices are very different than the other guys'.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Will we be packing your things or just moving furniture and boxes that you've packed? When would you like to move? What are your closing dates? (This often determines when you are actually able to move.) Make sure you account for the things that we will not account for - like pets!
