I recently completed my certification for pet grooming from the Animal Behavioral College. Before grooming pets, I was a veterinary technician for 12 years and am certified in animal CPR. Some services can be done from your home, and soon I hope to become fully mobile.
I have never seen myself in a career that doesn't involve animals! I can't imagine doing anything else! I treat all pets with kindness and respect, and I feel like it makes all the difference. I am happy to work with a nervous or fearful pet. That and my attention to detail, I feel, make my grooms stand out.
