Excellent home service. Training at home has helped to reinforce better habits that my dog is familiar with. My new rescue is adapting quite well thanks to the personal training from Lindas visits. We couldnt be happier

I liked that she came to my home and gave me a lot of information in one hour. A puppy isnt very cooperative, with all that energy to expend, its still one day at a time for me. There is no instant way to make things better. The puppy habits are getting better.

Linda is very knowledgeable about dog training. My papillon is so hyperactive, we needed help getting her to come to us, walk with leash, etc. Linda gave us some great tips we hadn’t thought of. Training is still a work in progress, but we see small improvements. We just need to continue with the training steps as she gets older.

I have 4 Chihuahuas and 1 Australian Shepherd that are Certified Therapy dogs that go into schools and work with Children. I have done this for 19 yrs. I train all my dogs myself, but often when I need advice, with various issues, I will contact Linda. She is the most knowledgeable and thorough in her care with anything pertaining to dogs! Everything from nutrition, breeding, behavior, obedience etc.

    Frequently asked questions

Learn as much about the dog's history, likes and dislikes, family dynamics and how long they have had the dog. Talk about the expectations and if there are any special needs.

Been training dogs professionally for the show ring and obedience for over 40 years. Trained one of the top 10 Beagles of the United States for confirmation showing when I was just 5 yrs old. Grew up in the business and have loved it ever since. We love helping people and their pets!

Trained one of the "Top 10 Beagles in the United States" for AKC confirmation showing when I was just 5 years old. My father was a professional show handler and part time interim show judge so I grew up in the business. Also, was a childhood dog trainer for obedience training with numerous clients through those early years as well.

I have worked with all kinds of customers, some with training experience and others that have never trained. It is equally important to educate the pet parent as it is the pet.

I have recently been working with leash training and general obedience for a four month old Chihuahua puppy that is really catching on nicely.

Also, a one year old Husky in need of a lot of obedience training and after just two hands-on sessions, we are already able to see definite progress.

Ask what type of training they provide, do they train in your home or where if not, ask questions you may have "before hiring" and let the trainer know as much about the dog's background as you can and what your expectations are for your pet's needs, ask where they received their training and are they a certified dog trainer.

Are they willing to spend the time thereselves to invest in the dog's training "inbetween" the professional sessions?

Are they willing follow through with an open mind towards good solid training advise for their particular circumstance that will add to their confidence as well as their dog's using patience and consistency on a regular basis?

Will the pet parents be on the same page for what they expect and willing to be an equal active participant?
