Star Dog Training
About
Star Dog Training is dedicated to working with clients who are seeking help training their pet or service dog. We offer a variety of services with a flexible schedule to fit busy clients needs. Each clients learns exactly how we train their dog, so they have the best understanding of how to work with their dog. This makes it to where training is long lasting compared to trainers who don’t go in-depth with their teaching process and leave clients confused. Our clients can easily trust us because they know exactly what we are doing with their beloved pets and why we are doing so.
Being able to see clients service dogs helping them with their disablity is by far the most enjoyable part of the work I do.

Frequently asked questions

We prevent or stop you from doing things that are rewarding bad behavior.
We go over how to properly communicate what you do and don't want from your dog.

We teach you how to properly play with your dog.
We go over socialization and leash skills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with dogs for the past 10 years. HAIEA was a truancy program I taught at a local animal shelter before starting to train service animals. I'd pair students with a dog at the shelter and instruct them through training the reactive and aggressive dogs. I've also worked with a dozen of private clients for service dog training, reactivity, aggression, and fear based problems.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find someone who takes the time to explain training thoroughly. Avoid board and trains unless you have done prior lessons with the trainer. Always find someone who starts working with your dog the second a lesson starts.
