About

Moving by Design is a family owned business. We only use full time moving professionals, no day or temp labor. We will protect your homes at the load and unload site to avoid door, doorways, floors, and walls damage. All items will be padded and shrink wrapped to insure a damage free move.

I love helping people relocate to a new home, office or apartment. I know how stressful moving can be and I employ pro movers to insure this process is stress free.

The majority of our customers contact us for services. We do offer on site visits based on move size.

My name is Tim Gray and I'm the President of Moving by Design. I've been in the moving industry since 1978 and I spent 15 on the trucks. I was head of Operations for a major moving company and became their top salesman. I also have a background in marketing.

Most of our moves are priced at an hourly rate. We have 2 man, 3 man and 4 man and multiple truck rates available.

I just gradutated from High School and my brother worked for a major van line and I started a long career in the industry

We work with residential and commercial customers.

When hiring a mover make sure they have insurance, a TXDOT number and read thier reviews. The Better Business Bureau is also useful when considering a company. Make sure your prepared on move day. All your boxes should be packed and label. A good rule of packing is if it fits in a box pack it.

Are you insured and can you send me a copy of your Certificate of Insurance? How do you handle damage claims? Do you use your own employees or are you a broker?
