My name is MacKenzie, I am 22 years old and I am looking for owners who need a variety of pet care ranging from intermediate dog training, cat and dog sitting/boarding and dog walking! I have four dogs and I am currently training one to be a service animal and am lightly training two others in scent detection and guard training! Two of them are pits and one is a german shepard mix, even my 10 month daschund is trained and is a great emotional support animal. I grew up helping my grandfather at his vet clinic and around their livestock where he showed me at a young age how he helped train others dogs. My boyfriend is a big contributor to our work and he also grew up training mainly pitbulls. If anyone is needing any sitting or training around the fort worth/euless area (or about 15 miles out) please feel free to message me!
I love making sure that pets and family feel safe and loved with their family and environment! I love getting to know them individually and together and watch them grow! I want to help prevent dogs from jumping home to home just because they need a little training.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you are looking to find help training your dog I will ask if you would like to work in the environment of your house so it is something that the dog is used to and will have to apply his behaviors at more and ask you and watch what your dogs high and low points/skills are and work from there. Depending on how much anxiety the dog gets from being away from you will depend on if I will start training them more by myself before I start teaching you the new commands and skills they have learned. If the dog has very high anxiety we will first work on being comfortable with crate training, being walked on a leash and having someone else take over their watch while you stay by until you and the animal feels more comfortable being alone.

Dog walking: 30 min-$13 1hr-$20
Dog training: $30-50 p/h
Dog boarding: $35-50 per night
Dog sitting: 1hr-$20
Dog bathing: $20-$45
How did you get started in this business?
Had many dogs of my own and wanted them to be trained as service animals. I have 2 pitt puppies and a german shepard husky mix puppy, I wanted to feel safe leaving them with my daschund and cat so I decided to try and make them highly trained.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Puppies, young adults, adults. High energy, low energy, high anxiety, low attention span, behavioral issues. Basic training: sit, lay down, stay, heel, come, up, no begging, crate training, potty training ----> retrieve.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
"How should I practice with them at home" "Will these behavioral lessons work in other environments?" "How do I make my dog motivated to train?" "How do I help their crate/separation anxiety?"
