I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed working with Esty! She is so knowledgeable, creative, and exceeded expectation! She made the whole process for me fun and effortless.

When I needed help selecting colors for our home, cabinets etc, she selected the most amazing colors you can find! She has outstanding ideas, and the ability to visualize a finished product that exquisitely incorporates my inputs, along with a professional design that is on trend and beautiful. She has been more than willing to work within our budget and time constraints. She even came down to my home and gave me so many practical and creative ideas for each room in the house! Her thoughtful suggestions re: artwork, color, furniture placement have made my home one that I love!

Beyond her design ideas, she is professional and responsive, and her ability to listen and transform made my finish choices a fun process. I feel so much better about all of my ideas with her oversight and direction.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If you're a part of our Instagram community (@estiekessler), you're qualified for the Instagram Insider's special rate.

The first step is to complete a design questionnaire with your goals for the space, any pictures or floorplans, budget, and inspirational images. Once that's completed, you'll receive an initial mood board, or design direction. If it resonates with you, we move on to pinpointing specific items/paint colors/finishes that will work in the space.

Finally, you'll receieve a Final Design Package which includes a design board to visualize the completed space, a floorplan with all items labeled, and a shoppable product list with everything you need to complete the space.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied Interior Design and Interior Architectural Drafting at California State University Long Beach and Santa Monica College. I also worked closely along leading designers in the South Bay as well as online design platforms before launching my own boutique interior design firm in 2017. I am constantly invested in continuous education in the field, participating in design seminars, workshops, and staying afloat of design trends. I am also the founder of interior design and lifestyle digital publication, www.abodebyestie.com.
