A set list to chooseb from with set prices for service at all kennels, pet boarding, dog daycare and pet sitting businesses. Pets come in all varieties and are individually unique. Each one has different needs. Each pet owner has different preferences for care. Whether it be medical needs, dietary requirements, excercise and stimulation, behaviour conditions and anxieties etc. Breeds have specific traits that are in the best interest of the pet to be addressed. There's many things to consider in giving quality care. Animals are easily stressed under these types of conditions, I believe in minimizing this. Catering to how best to care for the pet the same as the owner does, providing the same routine and of course, accustomed comforts. I personally think pet care isn't something that to be picked out as if ordering from a menu. I had to do this when I boarded my dogs. They endured having to be locked up with little to no human interaction without their owner there. I returned to find they wouldn't eat at all. I was heart broken. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do free meet and greets with new customers and pets prior to confirmed bookings for client peace of mind purposes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have almost 10yrs. experience in the pet care industry. I am a former veterinary technician and a volunteer shelter worker. Most importantly, I am a life long pet owner and complete animal lover.

I do pricing on a case by case basis. I do customized pet care, I base my services on the needs and preferences of the client. Each pet may need special care another does not, so I don't charge for services that aren't required or wanted.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always loved working with animals and have always been a very involved pet owner. When I needed a place to board my pets for a family trip I researched and priced many options and was not comfortable with what I found, so I went into business doing what I expect of pet care.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds with different needs and expectations. People with high maintenance requests for pet care, extra needs and preferences based on elderly pets, medical care requirements, special dietary needs etc.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your research and get an idea of what the standard price requirements are and know what you are paying for and what you aren't. Ask pro's in the pet & veterinary field about services recommendations. Reviews are important.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
About they're knowledge about what they do, business references, creditials and specific care provided.
