Sterling Decorating Services is a team of 3 experienced designer's who do all types and styles of design. With a combined 60 years of experience, we know how to pull a space together with color and furnishings.
We advise our clients in the latest styles and products. No space is too big or small for our designers.
We work closely with our clients and contractor's to make sure the project flows in a timely manner while being respectful of their budget.
We love helping people and get joy out of their satisfaction with our design ideas and implementation. We love taking their vision and turning it into a reality.
We know that most people cannot visualize what the room looks like when completed, and we love the reaction they have when they see it completed.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Inital design consultation to get to know the client's color & style preferences.
Take photos and measurements of the spaces to be designed.
We gather samples, swatches, drawings and photos to present to the client for consideration.
Put together a Pinterest page with furnishing, products and color ideas.
Put finial selections on a Power Point presentation for consideration.
Order and recieve all products for inspection and deliver to project. Arrange installation of furnishings and accessories.
Meet with contractor's and vendor's off site and at the project.
Supervise sub contractors to insure quality workmanship and correct product placement.
Handle all purchases and purchase orders, eleminating the headaches of accounting for the client. Present accurate invoices for client payment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our Team of Designer's are all experienced in Interior Design. We all have a bachelor's degree in design and one has a master's degree.
We have taken many continuing education classes, product specialty classes and have a combination of 75 years of experience.
We have worked on countles residential and commercial projects during our time as designer's.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Every project is unique. Our fees range from a one time consulation for paint or product selections at $150 per hour. Often this is accomplished in an hour
Larger project are on a case by case basis. We prefer a flat design fee and a cost plus for products. This saves the client consideable money.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked on many exciting projects. We have designed and specified many residential, medical, office and hospitality projects.
We have had the honor of working on all price ranges of projects. We can help anyone improve their space.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
We just completed a 1,000 sq. ft. addtion to a home built in the 60's. The client had a home with 1500 sq. ft. We designed the add on with a master bath, bedroom, utility and closet space.
We re-designed the exterior to give the home a face lift.
We gutted the old residence, moved walls and reconfigured a small shot gun kitchen to a large space that any Chef would love to cook in.
The master bath has a spa feeling with a lot of space and is handicapped accessible in case the need arises.
The client was so excited to have a "new" home to retire in and enjoy their many family and friend gatherings.
