Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will meet virtually or in person and talk about their vision and the current state of the space. After accessing the project I will provide a detailed plan of support with additional cost and materials needed for the project. Lastly, I will provide an estimated timeline of the completion of the project.
Once the initial deposit is made, we will confirm and finalize design plans to move forward with the desired vision and changes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Self-taught and self improved on DIY and renovation projects with the support of contractors and other designers experts!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
A simple reorganization project like just reorganizing a closet or a pantry or a room ranges from 250-400 depending on the timeline and needs for the project.
Bigger projects that involve construction and remodeling and replacing sinks, tubs, etc range from 2,000 and up depending on the size of the project and material costs.
How did you get started in this business?
Started doing improvement and organizational projects with friends and family. Then after 5 years of moving from state to state, I implemented my learnings in all my moves including saving and reusing what I have at home and being environmentally mindful of our homes and spaces.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Worked with all kinds of customers! Some lack organizing during major events, some just want a more organized pantry and some have kids and want a kid's safe home! Also, some just want their car more organized or need support laying out their very first garden!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Recommend meeting and asking all the questions you may have. Also, recommend having a clear vision of your wants and needs so that we can build a cohesive space together!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask what can and can't be done within a certain timeline. You don't want to be in a position where someone over promises and under delivers!
