About this pro

I am a certified trainer, my credentials require CEUS. So I LOVE learning new things about dogs and then educating pet parents on their own dogs behaviors.

I have been training service dogs for 15+ years. I have trained seizure alert and response, diabetic alert and response, mobility in all forms, PTSD alert and tactical as well as other psychiatric behaviors, food allergy alert, adrenal insufficiency, and a lot more! I strive to have the knowledge I need to help others with becoming more independent for themselves.

Valerie KNOWS dogs! I’m blessed to have found her!

I sent my little yorkie to Valerie and Keisha for an intensive board and train program. She was really starting to get out of control in the house with visitors and darting out of the door. Since she has been home she is a different dog! She always sits at the door for me and waits on me to release her. Since the ladies specialize in Service Dog Training they are really good at socialization and took Ginger out while she was there for socializing with people. Now she isn’t immediately jumping all over my friends when they come in! Instead she is up on the end of my couch in her “spot” waiting for attention and a treat. I am extremely happy with the outcome of the board and train with Canine Solutions Dallas. I highly suggest this company vs any of the others that warehouse a lot of dogs in a facility. These ladies have the dogs in the board and train in a home.

Canine Solution explained my dogs bad behavior and what needed to be done to change it. Valerie was very thorough and precise and our Sweet Daisy came home with a whole new attitude 😁.. oh and we now have a new puppy that is currently with Canine Solutions and I get updates regularly and pics and videos !! My gratitude goes out to Canine Solutions!!

Valerie is incredible. She is so kind, she has over 15 years of experience and it really shows in her work with dogs. I am lucky to have had the opportunity to work with her.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Phone call with us to determine what options are best for the potential client. We offer basic training options including board and train, group and individual sessions, as well as our service dog program.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have multiple dog training and Behavior certifications. As well as professional memberships to organizations that set the highest standards for dog trainers. I am also a mentor trainer for multiple trainers academies, teaching the next generation of dog trainers on force free, scientificly proven training techniques.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

Board and train program $1600. Completed in a HOME. We don't believe in warehousing dogs in a stressful environment with 50+ dogs and 1-2 dog trainers. We offer an actual home environment for this speciality service.

Individual Sessions $200

Group Classes $600

Service Dog Program $450 every 4th completed session (some months we may only meet 2 times) A required 2 week board and train for all potential service dogs is required due to regulation changes on airlines; or a 3 month initial payment decided by our staff.

How did you get started in this business?

I started with a local non profit that fully trains and places service dogs with disabled veterans.
