Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It really depends on how much homebuying or homeselling experience the customer has. If they are are first time homebuyers I take my time with them and really try to overcommunicate so they undertand and are comfortbale with the process. My goal is to make the transaction as smooth, stress free and pleasant experience for my clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've done it all. I have multiple certifications as well as 20 years experience and own my own brokerage. I am continually taking classes and expanding my knowledge to better serve my clients.
How did you get started in this business?
My mother was an interior decorator and I learned a lot from her. As a little girl, I drew houses constantly and wanted to be an architect when I grew up. When I was buying my first house, I was entrigued by the process and knew that's what I wanted to do. I moved to Frisco, Texas after my divorce and worked part time/contract jobs until I got my real estate license. I signed up with a start up brokerage that provided me with leads to get me started in the business. I got my first sale six weeks after joining the brokerage and the rest is history.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Helping a single mom buy her first home. It was a long, hard process, due to circumstances beyond her control, but I told her to hand in there that she could do it. The joy and the appreciation was overwhelming for both of us when she finally got keys to her brand new home.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Meet with several agents and find the best fit for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Have a goal in mind as to what you are looking for and in what area, but also be flexible.
