Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a meeting to determine if we are a good fit for the project.
Then we will write up a proposal for the owner to review and sign.
Once under contract, we begin with programming - where we determine the needs the owner has for the proposed project and the individual spaces as well as the appearance inside and out.
Once the program is approved we begin to design to solve the needs of the project in a phase called schematic design. In this phase, we work closely with the owner to review and edit the design until it meets the needs identified in programming.
Then we engage our engineers to lay out the structural and mechanical systems in Design Development.
And finally, we present the project in technical documentation for bidding p[ermitting and construction in the construction documents phase.
At his point, the project is ready for permitting, pricing and construction.
