What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A meet & greet. Determine the needs and crietria of what the clients is looking to accomplish.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 900 hours of Real Estate Classes under my belt beside graduating DeVry with a 4.0. Being a Boy Scout Leader for 13 years dealing with teens on suragr highs has definitely helped me with personal skills in Real Estate.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
It depends on several variables (price, location, timing, repairs, etc...) but there are many situations I do not charge a full commisson plus I discount more if the client is purchasing another home through me.
How did you get started in this business?
I was taken advantage of by an agent who cost me $8000 I did not have or be homeless. After realizign that could have done a better job myself, I became an agent in 1982 to clean up the industry and make sure that the best of interests is given to the client.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types from the lower end to the high end plus commerical transactions too.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you can ALWAYS reach your agent. If they miss your call, they are missing buyer calls too. There is nothing more frustrating knowing that you are paying a commission but cannot reach your agent. Answering the phone is the KEY to good business. Many calls are from that spontaneous buyer wanting to see a home. If they cannot reach you, they will reach another agent. Also make sure your agent know the area and has the experience under his belt. I have been a Top Producer for 37 years.
