What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone conversation with a follow up appointment to meet in person to go over expectations, pricing and planning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am licensed by the State of Texas under the Texas Real Estate Commission. I have a Texas Real Estate License. I continue my education annually and renew my RE LIC. Every other year. I have an equvilant to a Broker's education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
6% commission for consulting, marketing, professional photography and selling.
$1000 to facilitate all vendors for make ready and/or updating the home. I have staging contacts, professional photographers, painters, electricians, Plumbers, Preferred Home warranty companies, etc.
How did you get started in this business?
I started as a lease up agent for the first apartment community built in Allen, Texas in 1980. I became an apartment locator in 1984 to present and published an Apt Guide in 1987 for 11 years and decided to become a Realtor to buy and sell in 2004. I can't imagine doing anything else but Real Estate, it's my passion.

Describe a recent project you are fond of.
I helped a seller completely update a 1990s home in Coppell, TX. I chose the lighting, flooring, paint, granite, picked out all new hardware, facilitated all vendors and transformed a $282K home into a $565K home that yeilded an offer in 3 days.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Choose someone with experience who works full time! Ask about specific jobs and what they did to sell or help purchase.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
