What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I visit the clients location, discuss scope of project, customer preferences, budget and timeline expectations.
I go over fees related to design work.
Upon approval, start on design plan for review and ongoing updates as we proceed with selections.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Formal training married with 25 years of experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do not have a standard price system. It depends on size of project. Every project is unique and based on complexity and needs. A full detailed quote is provided, discussed and agreed upon prior to any work done.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always loved design. I studied from magazines, furniture and textures from a very young age. It was a dream that I made happen for myself. After completing formal training, I opened my business and never looked back.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types including residential to commercial. I mainly work with residential projects. Single professionals, married couples to families as well as the empty nesters wanting to downsize.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A Full home update. All new furniture, draperies, rugs, accessories and art. A great project that the client was very pleased with.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Hire someone who listens to you and works hard to make your dreams happen. It is never about what the designer wants, it's about what the client loves!
I work hard for my clients and my goal is to please them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Design Style identified, dreams and wish list, problems to solve, goals, colors palette desired, materials interested in, budget and timeline desired.
