Kevin's Pet Services (behavioral, Training, Grooming, Etc)
About
Certified and credentialed (NDGAA,IJA,PPG & NWDGA) Master Groomer/Behaviourist. Proud 2013 Nash Academy of Animal Arts graduate (one of only two grooming schools in the nation that's curriculum is accredited by their states board of education). I've been providing stress free "in home" grooming services since 2014.
As a behaviorist, I educate pet parents while also correcting their pets problematic behaviors, such as barking,, leash pulling, aggression, etc. I'm basically the professional every new pet owner should come to before hiring a trainer. Many times, through lack of knowledge, pet parents hire trainers to correct bad behaviors instead of behaviorist because they're unaware of the differences. This, more often than not, winds up costing pet parents lots money and frustration because now they have a dog with the same core issues that now knows how to sit, stay, etc
I also offer:
- dog walking
- pet setting
- broker/consulting services
For added Peace of mind for you pretty parents looking to have someone come into your home I am a Rover certified and approved partner. (Rover has the highest standards in the pet walking/sitting industry when it comes to verifying and partnering with pet professionals)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start off with a consult. It's important to get the pets background and history when it comes to grooming or training history. This also allows me to get the pet parents expectations.
Gooming
I started "in home" grooming services in 2015 because of the horrors I witnessed at grooming salons. Sadly there's no required training or certification. You can literally watch a YouTube video and open a salon.
Why "in home" grooming?
1. It's much less stressful for your per. There's no loud noises, metal cages & unfamiliar smells
2. It's cheaper than mobile grooming
3. Pet parents aren't left to wonder what's going on with their fur baby behind those walls. I usually have great conversations during the groom and this ritual bonds the pet and their parents even stronger. It's beautiful
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2013 Nash graduate 1 of only 2 grooming academies in the nation whose curriculum has been approved by their states board of education.
Certified as a Master Groomer and member in good standing with the 3 most prestigious accrediting organizations in the world. (They require a diploma fist and then annually pet professionals are required: 100 hours of continuing education, competitions, and practical testing if unable to attend yearly conference
NDGAA (National Dog Grooming Association)
IJA (International Judges Association)
PPG (Pet Professional Guild)
I am also a member of the Wholistic Dog Groomers Association because I only use the best plant based products. I'll never put chemicals, parabens, etc on your pet
