My name is Terri Saari, and I am the Broker and Owner of Kristalli Real Estate, and a proud Texas REALTOR®. I have extensive knowledge of properties in the Northwest, North Central, and Northeast corridor of San Antonio. I work both commercial and residential transactions and have lengthy experience in building investor portfolios, relocations, military transfers, and the ever-changing new home market.

I am a Certified Relocation Specialist (CRS), Certified New Home Specialist (CNHS), Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS) and have my Accredited Buyers Representation (ABR) certification, my Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, and I am most proud of my Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI). I also hold numerous other designations and am always looking for additional opportunities to both teach and learn about the intricacies of our industry.

I love working with buyers and sellers because during my 21 years as a member of the United States Air Force I relocated many times and personally know the feeling of being on both sides of a sale. I know how hard transitions are for any family and buying and selling the family's home is a big part of the transition-even if it is just across town. Truth be told, I also have to give a great deal of credit for my ability to manage and supervise to my experiences being a mother of four. My children are all grown now and I am very proud of their accomplishments. All four of them have followed in their parent’s footsteps in some way- one daughter began her career as my Property Manager, another is proudly serving in the US Air Force. One son has honed his skills and works in Austin at a prestigious firm doing computer programming, and the other lives and works right here in San Antonio as a residential home inspector.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

1)  Depending on whether they are buyers or sellers I will meet them at the office or their home, if possible.  This gives us a good chance to see if we are a good match for each other and discuss the process.

2)  Find out their needs and timeline.

4)  Walk them through the process and see if they have any questions or concerns.

3)  Recommend additional vendors and professionals from my book of business as needed.

4)  Provide them past clients if they are not referral clients.

5)  Depending on if they are buyers or sellers I will begin showing them homes matching their criteria or provide them a Comparative Market Anaalysis.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have served in the military and retired after 20+ years so I am very familiar with how to handle families in transitions.  I also have more than 15+ designations in real estate.  To name a few, GRI -Graduate REALTOR® Institute, SRES - Senior Real Estate Specialist, MRP - Military Relocation Professional, SRS - Seller Representative Specialist, ABR - Accredited Buyer’s Representative, MCNE - Master Certified Negotiations Expert, ALHS - Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, AHWD - At Home With Diversity, e-Pro - Internet Professional, SFR - Short Sales and Foreclosures Resource, and TRLS/TRPM - Texas Residential Leasing Specialist and Property Manager.  I have also sat on numerous local real estate committe boards as well as TAR boards.

How did you get started in this business?

I got started after I retired from the United States Air Force.


What types of customers have you worked with?

I love to work with buyers and sellers.  I have a lot of military clients who are moving in and out of San Antonio.  I also have a lot of relocation clients.


Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I recently worked with a client who was a first time home buyer who moved her without her husband.  She had to find the home without her husband who was deployed.  We had to do FaceTime with him and we found the perfect home.  It was great when he came home and got to see the great home we picked out.


What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Make sure you find an agent you like and can work with, not just one off a sign.  Always hire your own agent.  Whether you are buying a new construction home or a preowned home.  All buyers need their own REALTOR.  

As a seller if you think you can sell your own home, talk to a REALTOR first and at least see how much money they can save you.  Time is money and their expertise can in the end save you a lot of money and headache.


What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

It really depends on what client you are representing - either a buyer or a seller, but here are a few questions:

1) What was your most challenging client and how did you handle it?  

2)  Where would you live and why? 

3)  How can you make my offer more attractive to the seller other than just increasing the price?

4)  What are your plans to make my house more attractive to buyers other than decreasing the price?

5)  How do you help Buyers make a decision between homes?

6)  How do you help Sellers make a decision on offers.
