FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically booked out 2-3 days. Will schedule weekends, but additional rate is included ($25). For Buyers, they can be present during inspection or show-up-at-end. Inspections typically take 1.5-2 hrs. I do not complete inspection reports at site, this would require me at site for almost 4 hours. I complete reports at home office. During the week, reports are sent same day. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday reports are sent with-in 24 hrs. I accept Venmo, Credit Cards, Checks or Cash. I offer a variety of discounts. Give me a call and lets see what you qualify for!

How did you get started in this business?

Was a Home Builder for 7 years (2nd Generation). The Inspection trade was orginally meant to be the "in-between" projects. However, the last home I built was almost 4 years ago. The Inspection Business "took-off" and has been my full-time poistion for 9 years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Architects, Engineers, Attorneys, Builders, Investors, First-time Home Buyers, Retires, Veterans...you name it. Completed over 3,000 inspections and seen just-about everything.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Just last week (04/06/20), discovered a serious foundation defect that saved my Clients big-time. They were First-time Buyers. Could have possiblly ruined there financial future had they decided to go with a different inspector. I am one-of-the-few that uses advanced equipment during inspection.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Average inspection cost: $350

Average foundation repair: $6,500

Average roof replacement: $5,500

Average electrical panel replacement: $2,000

Average HVAC replacement: $5,000

If nothing is discovered, your Realtor can negitoate your $350 back (price reduction, closing costs, etc.)

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

The majority of my business is Home Buyers. My referral partners are Realtors.

Make sure your contract has been excepted and all utilities are turned-on before booking an appointment.
