About
Health and self esteem go hand in hand. It means something to humans and just as much for dogs. Quality of life is a daily priority. I adore dogs and have since birth. Couldn't imagine any other line of work. Having your family member makes them mine as well. I take extreme pride in creating a comfortable environment during the grooming process and make sure we are having fun also. I was employed with Petsmart since 2009 with the exception of a year in between. Went through their certification and am excited to meets some new amazing dogs! :)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Always always happy introductions and gauging the groom. I have life long clientele and as it should be :) You ask and you shall receive :)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certification through PetSmart's academy training close to 2 years ago.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I charge a flat rate with anyone I see. I categorize it into 4 sections. Short coat/small dogs (shorthair Chihuahua for example) would be $35. A large short coated dog such as a Labrador would be $50. Long coat small dogs (yorkie or Pomeranian for example) would be $55 and a long hair large dog (Golden Retriever) would be $80. That being said, this service does include ear cleaning, ear plucking, nail trimming, anal gland expression (external). Always included in the groom. I work out of my apartment for any of my puppies :)
How did you get started in this business?
I grew up with Rhodesian Ridgebacks that were my best friends. At 17 I worked for Etosha Hound Rescue in Seguin Texas and subsequently began at PetSmart in 2009. I knew I had to do something with animals. You have to truly love what you do or this business is not for you. I couldn't imagine being in a different career. I adore my job.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I am very fortunate to say I am blessed with incredible customers that have the same interests in mind as I do. Health of the dog and puppy looking cute :)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Went to a creative dog cuts workshop which was incredible. I will be planning to go to an Asian fusion grooming seminar. I am always excited to learn more about my craft.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Keep up with daily desensitize training such as playing with feet, paw pads, and daily brushing if the dog has a long coat.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I would say to check that the dog is in fact in a good place through, again, brushing as a daily routine and if not, what to expect groom wise for your babies if not kept up quite so much.
