Largest goal is client service; very hands on and give my clients my full attention. Getting clients to their end-goal is key, whether it can be met in just a few weeks or if it takes a year. Some clients are just beginning the first stages of thinking of selling their homes, or buying a new home, and some are ready "now." It takes a professional to be patient with each clients' needs and wants, because every client is unique. Every situation is not cookie-cutter. Respecting that, while offering the guidance needed, makes for a great relationship.
1) Meeting the client; listening & building relationship, with the hope it becomes a long-term friendship.
2) I love the part of the process that most people don't - contracts! I'm a stickler for the details, which is important because purchase and sale contracts are riddled with expectations & deadlines. I'm very task-oriented so it would be quite unusual for anything to slip past me.
3) Other than getting my clients to the closing table -- the ultimate goal -- one of the best things about my job is seeing the faces of my buyers when we find "THE ONE!" -- the perfect house! Or when my seller gets that great offer! Nothing beats that feeling!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most of the time, the initial contact comes via telephone; some initial information can be gathered at that time, OR, I like to set up a face-to-face with the client(s) at a public place like a restaurant (I typically offer to treat!) Basically, I give the client the floor, listening to what it is they are wanting and needing, and my questions and suggestions begin with a focus on what their specific directions are. Then we go from there! It's very laid-back.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've spent 38 years in client services industry, office administation and management, which honed my skills for detail work and client relations. For the past 5+ years I've been a full-time Realtor having successful closings for both buyers and sellers, with some of those clients hiring me for both. Doing back-to-back closings can be tricky sometimes & it helps that I'm a great multi-tasker.
