About
Re-Find Design is all about finding something you love whether it is old or new and making it yours. I graduated New York Institute of Art and Design program with a certificate in interior design. I am the mother to two amazing boys, military wife and "Re-Design" enthusiast.
I love everything that there is about design. From a young age I was dragged on Garden and House tours with my parents (Hi Mom and Dad!) It was there that I grew an appreciation for design and making things look beautiful.
My house is not a showcase by any means (It is 24 years old and constantly in renovation) but I love fixing it, renovating and finding ways to make it work. That passion has translated to my everyday life. I want to help everyone make beautiful spaces that they love.
So if you are looking for someone to help you "Re-Design" your space I would love to help you.
I love watching a clients eyes light up and them fall in love with a room that they did not really love before. Design is about taking all the things that you have collected and love and putting them together so they make sense.
It is my passion to make beautiful spaces. It is my passion to see people happy. Being able to combine these two is a dream come true.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally like to meet in the space that they are wanting to refresh/redo. We talk about hopes dreams, thoughts, likes, how they want to use the space as well as the goal behind my hire. I then ask the client to start a pinterest board, cut out pictures from magazines and images that they envision their room looking like. Then my work begins.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I. graduate NYIAD with a certificate in Interior Design. Combine that with my passion for creating beautiful rooms that people want to be in and that is what makes me a skilled designer.
My philosophy is that this is your room and you have to love it. If you don't like something; tell me. If you want something else or a part of the design is not exactly what you want; tell me. This is your space, your house and you have to love it when I leave.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Generally there is a 20% fee for all goods and services rendered. I do an initial free 30 minute free facetime or zoom consultation. If you decide to hire me there is a $150 in person consultation fee and $75/hr fee for drawings, sketchings, mock ups, and visitations to the job site.
How did you get started in this business?
My husband and I bought a 200 year old house in Northern New York. There was a lack of interior designers in the area and the design process was left to me. I decided educating myself in design was important if I was going to be working with contractors regularly. I also love creating and designing; I have since I was a kid. My passion has grown and we are now on to our third home renovation. Definitely not my last.

I work with folks from all walks of life. I want to help you make your dream a reality.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love events that get my creative endeavors going. Culture feats, drives to new places, walks in nature, exploring thrift, antique and vintage stores, etc.
The world is my oyster.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The final product should express who you are and what you love.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

How long they are willing to live in a renovation?
