About
I travel to the client's home to train theor dogs. The client is there, so I teach them what to do. The customers like it because it's convemient for them. They also get an email over what we worked and that day. They are welcome to contact me anytime if they have questions. I have a positive/friendly approach to teaching that makes the client's comfortable.
I graduated from the Animal Behavior College in the Dog Obedience Training Program. I also worked aa a dog trainer at Petsmart here in Nashville before starting my own business, The Homeschooled Hound.
I've always been a dog lover, and it's very gratifying to come to someone's homeand train the dog so they'll be an obedient family member. However, this is a people business, and I enjoy meeting and working with people from all walks of life.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first set up a free phone consultation so I can learn more about their dog.
After the phone consult, I go to their home for an evaluation. The evaluation is $75, however the fee is waived or credited back to the client if they proceed to take lessons from me.
We then decide how many lessons they'd like to take. Client's usually start taking lessons the same day as the consultation.
