About
Barkmore Inn and Salon opened in November 2019. We provide grooming, daycare and boarding. We recently opened up at our new location at 7400 Hwy 11 E in Lenoir City. We are happy to welcome Laura McCulley who has been in the pet care business for 11 years. She begin her career as a bather and went on to be a groomer. She was lead groomer at her previous employment. We are super excited to have her join our team. Ginger and Chuck Pritchett are owners. Chuck assist with dog care and maintenance when he is not deployed. He is a retired veteran but continues to serve our country by supporting our great Air Force. Ginger has a bachelors degree in Social Work. She has spent most of her career working with the disabled population. After 30 years in this field she decided she needed a change. Her love for her own dogs inspired her to take a leap a faith and change fields. She interned at Paws Pet Supply to receive hands on training before opening Barkmore Inn and Salon. We welcome you and your pets to come by and visit our beautiful salon.
I love working with dogs. They bring me joy. I love seeing a dog come in needing some pampering and seeing the transformation when they leave my salon. I appreciate my customers that trust me with their fur babies.

Pricing depends on the cut and size of dog. First time customers get 10% off.
How did you get started in this business?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. I have worked with the disabled most of my adult life. I found that I really enjoy being around out fury friends and changed fields.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for a groomer that enjoys what they do and that is not rushing through several dogs in one day. Your pet does not get the attention and gentleness it deserves when you have a groomer that is grooming several dogs a day. When groomers rush there is an increase of injury to your dog.
