Purring Paws And Wagging Tails
About
I want my home to be your animals home away from home. My furclients become family and when you bring them I want you leaving knowing they are In Good Paws. I am professional yet personable, organized but allow for flexibility. I have a certification in pet CPRand first aid with certifications soon to follow for Pet Aromatherapy/Massage,training,grooming and I am also insured. I come highly recommended with excellent reviews.
When I started in this, it was only going to be part time until I finished my certifications for aromatherapy and massage for people, but after only a few furclients I fell in love and am hooked and geared my certifications towards pets. I have two toy poodles Dixie and Waylon and two girls Brooklyn(4) and Genesis(9) that provide warm welcomes to furclients as well. I can't imagine not doing this and don't know why I didnt start this earlier in life. For me it's become more of a passion than a job.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new customer is to reassure them that their pets are in good hands and I do that by asking customer questions on the routine of their pets. Their routine if they have one is important to me because I want to provide their pets a home away from home. These are not just animals to my clients or to me but family.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. Currently taking classes in certifications for Pet Aromatherapy/Massage, Pet Grooming and Training.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in this business by wanting to make a little extra money with a flexible schedule but ended up loving and wanting to do it full time. Educate so I can expand my business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my pet clientele are dogs, but I am opened to having cats.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My first client when I started pet sitting was a chihuahua named Millie. Her pet mom was in hospital so for the first two weeks i did drop in visits with her and eventually ended up boarding her at my house another two weeks. We had such a great time and I had grown so attached to her and apparently she had as well that the pet parent reached out to me to do drop in visit with Millie once a week to play and spend time with her because she felt Millie had gotten attached and was missing me.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
1. Ask lots of questions and don't let any question you ask go unanswered.
2. Remember no question is dumb when it comes to the care of your pet.
3.Find someone that enjoys what they do, they may tell you all the creditials they have or you may have read it on their profile but having passion about this line of work is not something that can be taught.
