About
FIVE STAR Best in Customer Satifaction - REal Estate Agent - awarded to me annually from 2008-2018. I listen to the wants and needs of my clients and that is what I deliver. Winner of multiple awards when I was with RE/MAX - 100% Club & Platinum Club for multiple years.
Meeting people and seeing new homes to get ideas that I can share with clients. I also enjoy seeing resale homes to see how sellers are updating older homes. I have been a judge for the Wake County (Raleigh) Parade of Homes for over 6 years.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet or talk on the phone. Listen to what the potential clients wants and needs are and find the way to make that a reality. Setup a personal listings website so that as properties come on the market that match their needs the client will be notified immediately when the home is entered into the MLS system.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
There is no charge for home buyers for me to represent them as a buyer agent. All homes on the MLS offer payment to an agent that represents a buyer of each home listed. In addition all new home neighborhoods in the Charlotte area will pay for you to have a buyer agent to represent you in the purchase of their home. If a buyer also has a home to sell the commission I charge is 5% of the gross sales price. 2% to me for listing and representing the seller and 3% to the agent representing the buyer. If I have a listing and I also have a client that wants to buy that listing(being a dual agent) the commission I would charge the seller is a total of 4% of the gross sales price.
How did you get started in this business?
When I was growing up my family would go look at houses every weekend. My mother said that she was getting ideas for her dream home. I always have enjoyed looking at homes so I decided to get my real estate license as a career backup. I was a single parwnt with two kids and needed to have a plan in case I was displaced in my in banking job. That never happened but I decided to make a career change anyway since I was old enough to take early retirement. That has been quite a while now and I haven't regretted my decision, not once! I love what I do and can't believe that I can do something that I enjoy so much!!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with first time buyers, move-up buyers and relaocating buyers. I love helping people finding the home of their dreams!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find someone that you feel comfortable and can relate to. Pick someone that listens to what you want and will work to stay in those parameters. Do they have work experience, do they have any additional training?
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Get pre-approved by a lender to know how much home you can afford. The lender should pull your credit to see if any errors are on your report. Ride around areas of the city where you think you might like to live and determine the names of any subdivisions or neighborhoods that interest you. Make a list characteristics of must haves for your home. Then make a list of love to haves and put them in order of which you want the most important to least important.
