What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet the pet parent along with the pet first. We discuss a plan of action to meet everyone's needs and then move forward. First meeting is free.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Five years as a pet groomer, vet tech at a Titan Vet and Assistant Manager at All About Pets - a full service animal supply store.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is dependent on size and weight of dog and services needed. I.e. clippering, scissoring or just bath and brush.
How did you get started in this business?
In 2015, I left the Corporate World to pursue my passion. I started as a barber at Joyful Grooming, then was a groomer at Petco and All About Pets and in 2019, my partner, Andrea and I launched our own pet services business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with both dogs and cats, everything from Great Danes to chihuahuas.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would suggest you get a number of quotes and chose the person who feels "right" for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Are they First Aid and CPR certified? What safety precautions do they utilize?
