About this pro

I work closely with my clients to edit, curate and  procure items for their homes.  It is important that your decor fits your lifestyle.  When we are  surrounded by the things we love and pieces that represent our life we create a sense of home.  A place that is safe, peaceful and loving to enjoy.

It’s a natural talent and never feels like work.  It feels good to be appreciated and knowing I can help people fall in love with their living spaces is very therapeutic for all parties involved.

Maria took the time to get to know ME and my style before making any suggestions. Also her knowledge of style, design, antiques and designers is encyclopedic! And she WILL stay in your budget.

Maria is an amazingly talented designer, who listens to her clients and collaborates with them to realize their dream home. Her vision, integrity and work ethic make her unique and made the whole process both fun and fulfilling. I wouldn't think of working with anyone else!

A & I Design are intuitive, innovative, professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. I get so many compliments on our kitchen that I'm frequently re-telling the story of how it was inspired by A & I Design's innate talent and genius combined with a knack for simply "getting" a client's aesthetic and lifestyle. Highly recommend!

I have a small business and needed to make it look nicer for clients coming in for a conference, etc. I thought it looked OK, but I'm a man and engineer so design, furniture placement, colors, map and picture placements, etc I thought were OK. Maria came in and made the place look amazing. She just has an eye and knack, and a lot of it was just simple placement and a rework of the setup. Very classy and well worth it.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I usually set up an initial consultation in the home to meet and discuss the needs and goals of the homeowner.  I bring my notebook, tape measure, and  camera phone.  The initial meeting often gets my creative juices flowing.  We discuss budget, timeframe and get a feel for what will work best for their lifestyle

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied art and design in school many moons ago.  I come from an artistic background my parents were both talented artists one a sculpture the other a potter.  I studied interior design and lighting with Arthur Argo Childs, decorative painting with Robert Kanisel and window treatments with Christopher Thomas.  I was blessed with exceptional taste and style.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
