Q & A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Meet face to face, decide if we are a fit and make a plan.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Graduated Sheffield School of Design in New York, NY.  Attend High Pointe Markets at least annually to keep up with current trends.

Have been in business for over 20 years.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

We will work with the customer and establish the best method of billing.

Flat fee per room

Purchase thru our showroom at less than retail prices

Hourly rate

How did you get started in this business?

Always had a passion for design.  There was never any doubt it was my path.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Mostly residential customers thru the years.

Our commercial projects included Doctor offices, hotel lobbies, retail spaces and brockrage offices.

Describe a recent project you are fond of.

Lake house project for a local customer.  After completing their home in Pheonixville, we have moved on to their newly purchased Mountain Home.

Like varying colors and style for their second residence in an attempt to give them some diversion.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Make sure you hire someone that will decorate for you, not what they want.  In the end the designer leaves and you live with the result.  Make sure it is a reflection of you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

In the end what do you want to room to feel like?

Do homework by collecting pictures of styles that appeal to you

Figure out your budget for the project
