My training methods are different than many. My methods may be faster and more effective than you thought possible. Before asking our dogs to change their behavior we must first show them WHY they should follow and obey us. Consider that your dog may already know what you want but do what they want instead because we haven't shown them (in a way they understand) that we are leaders worth following, that they can trust us and that we have their best interest in mind. Dogs determine who is fit to lead based on different things then we as humans look at. Building a relationship of trust and respect gives us what we really want. The dogs appreciate this relationship too!
I love to help people live with the dogs that they love so much without stressing over behavior they don’t understand or cannot fix. I really enjoy showing people how your dog can be another member of the family. We all want to live in harmony with our dogs, right? I want to help you achieve this!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with me is an easy process. We start by discussing your concerns about your dog's behavior. I will answer any questions you may have about how I work as well as what my training packages include. The next step would be to schedule an appointment where I will come to your home for the training or pick up your wonderful companion for training in my home based on which package you chose. No matter which package you choose I will return to your home to complete the training and share with you the next steps.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated a year-long training course in dog communication and owner education. In addition, I have worked extensively with many breeds of dogs both in a rescue capacity as well as behavior training.

How did you get started in this business?
I started off looking for a career path that would allow me to work with the dogs whose company I enjoyed so much, I happened upon a business idea where I could pick up several clients’ dogs and go for a nature hike. This was a lot of fun and I would work with the dogs off leash learning impulse control and recall training; however, I found that many people did not have dogs that could reliably be off-leash and return when called.
It was at this point that I realized that many many people want to enjoy a life WITH their dog but instead, they end up tolerating behavior and being frustrated or embarrassed when their dog misbehaves. I spent about a year learning much from several trainers and completing my certification as a trainer and behaviorist. I am now able to share my knowledge with you! A passion of mine is to continue to learn and grow my knowledge of dogs and their interactions with the world around them.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked dogs with many concerns. To name a few; human aggression, dog aggression, general obedience, leash pulling, barking, hyperactive behavior, running away from the home etc.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would suggest asking about what methods they use to work with your dog. I would also suggest you look for reviews to see what other customers are saying.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How much would you enjoy living life with your dog if they followed your lead and instruction? Would being able to take your dog with you and know they would follow your instructions excite you? I can help!
