What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact , I meet with the client on site and go over the details of the project. I create a written estimate, mail or email it to them, and they decide wheter or not to proceed or make changes. Once a contract is signed, the customer is given an estimated start date. Usually a few days to a week prior to starting, the customer is notified to make sure its convenient.
