I love the art of grooming. I love learning new things and meeting new pets and people. It's an absolute joy to see an animal happy after the grooming process and not stressed. I use all natural products also that will leave your dog or cat smelling great!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Speak to the owner beforehand to ask any questions about their pet and what kind of haircut they would like. If there’s any kind of skin sensitivities. Then when it’s iust me and the pet I always take the time to get to know them. Talk to them calmly and pet them. It usually provides a good rapport between us. I have worked with many different kinds of pets and having a calm demeanor has always helped me be a good groomer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent years as a veterinary technician and then decided to be a groomer. I absolutely love it. I feel that animals are better to work with when they feel they are in a safe environment. That’s why I feel housecalls are the best choice for most pets.
How did you get started in this business?
While working in the shelter as a veterinary technician I was able to work with a groomer there. I love the one on one I get to have with the pets and making them feel good. I’m a very patient person and treat every pet as if they were my own. It’s nice to form relationships with every pet and their owners. That’s the best part about it.
