Modern Dog

Modern Dog is a locally, independently, and woman-owned pet care provider serving Pittsburgh’s East End since 2014. Based at 415 Gettysburg Street in Point Breeze, the team offers supervised dog daycare, dog walking, and in-home care for cats and small animals. Daycare takes place in staffed playrooms equipped with play sets and toys, with full-day, half-day, and hourly options available. Midday dog walking is offered as a quick stop (potty break), 30-minute, or 60-minute visit; an additional dog can be added per visit for a small fee. In-home visits are available for cats and small animals such as hamsters, turtles, and iguanas; snakes are not accepted. Transportation to and from daycare is available within an approximately 2-mile radius for a set per-trip fee. Sleepovers are also available. Modern Dog operates Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM, and provides walking and in-home services in Point Breeze, Shadyside, Squirrel Hill, East Liberty, and Oakland.
