What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to meet with buyers and complete a short buyer consultation. This will give us a feel for what they are looking for, what their needs are - both in a house and in an agent. It helps understand their qualificaitons so we know how to best direct a buyer. We like to get to know our buyers, in order to provide the best service possible and determine if we are a good fit for them and their needs.
Working with a seller, we will usually meet them at their home in order to give us an idea of their goals are and how we can help find the best pricing to get their home sold quickly and efficiently.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both Lisa and Louise have PA, DE and NJ licenses and began a real estate career back in 2003
In addtion, both have completed ABR (acredited buyer rep) training. Lisa also has ePro and AHWD designations.
Lisa has served on the local board of Realtors Grievance committee, professional standards committe and been the SWRA office Liaison.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Buyers do not pay a fee to have a buyer agent represent them. There are closings costs, but not to have buyer representation.
Sellers do pay a commission and that is a fee we discuss and negotiate when we meet.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with many buyers and sellers over the years, and of course references would be available if requested.
We have worked with first time buyers, which we always enjoy, and move up buyers and investors as well. Sellers may be first time selling or mulitple times as the seller, either downsizing or upsizing.
We have worked with a few tenants as well.
We also have an extensive network of agents available all over the world which allows to help buyers and sellers not only here locally but globally as well. We would be happy to refer you to other top agents all over the world.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions.
If you do not understand something, ask them to explain it to you again!
Get pre qualified. (before falling in love with a house)
Do home inspections.
This is probably one of the largest purchases you will ever make in your life. Enjoy the process and have fun finding your new home!
