Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Reviewing what the customers project & Vision entails for there Pool Installation and what are the obstacle's that will present themselves to complete the project smoothly and on time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have installed Above Ground Swimming Pools since 1982 in 4 different states and continue to do so, with all the new and advanced designs and training over those years. I have Installed and repaired Above Ground Pools with a lot of different situations and obstacle's in that time frame
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We have a pricing chart to refer to for each different Pool size to quote consistent Pool Installation prices, and standard pricing for the excavation for leveling the New Pool Location and/or Existing Pool Site.
How did you get started in this business?
I started when I was in High School as a summertime job from one of my Parents friends pool company.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked for all different types of customers, from new pool installation, to replacing vinyl liners to tear/down reinstallations, opening and closings, outline landscaping, to deck building to the new pool, or connecting an existing deck to the new pool and expanding the decks.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We had a recent extreme excavation job, we had to build retaining walls out of 6x6 pressure treated lumber to accommodate the homeowners pool site for the pool installation and the end result came out perfect, the whole family was happy and it was great to see the smiles on all the families kids faces when the project was completed, This was a 3 day project from the time the customer signed the contract
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you get your pricing up front as much as possible, lots of times company's low ball the pricing to book the job, then show up to the customers houses and upcharge them for every thing they can to make up for the low ball pricing.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do they have a yard large enough that will accommodate the project that they would like done at there location? do they have access for the equipment to do the project? how will they fill the pool? how will the filter pumps electric be completed? and last, expect to have to do some yard work after the construction phase of the project is completed to get the yard back to your original plan before the project was started.
