HOME-ology

HOME-ology is the expansion of Primitiques, Ltd. locally handcrafted furniture, upholstery, woodenware and home decor line. In 2005, Bill & Beth Merryfield of Delaware County, PA. created Primitiques, Ltd. and both left their careers in Mental Health to pursue their dream of owning their own business. Beth received her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from LaSalle University and Bill his Masters in Counseling Pyshology; both have always had artisitic and creative sides. They started their business creating woodenware in their home in 2005 and over the years, Primitiques has become synonomous with exceptional, authentic-looking reproduction furniture as well as creative, original designs. The creation of their retail store, HOME-ology, is a loving nod to their previous careers... The psychology of making a house a home...

Primitiques' brand expanded their line by adding French Farmhouse (Primi-Chic), Prim-Industrial and High Country (Tiger Maple, Cherry woods and refined paint finish). The Merryfield's hold a firm belief in buying from American Folk Artists and Craftspeople and created a showroom filled with hand-picked, American Made Home Decor, Artwork, Folk Art, Linens, Candles, Artisan Soaps & Spa Goodes. ​

HOME-ology is the next stage of our business. We are thrilled to bring the Main Line our "locally grown" handcrafted furniture, upholstery, wooden home decor and a smattering of vintage finds and Early American antiques to help make your house a HOME.
