About

Every construction job solves a problem, whether it is a leak in a basement, adding a bathroom, or hanging a paper towel holder. My job begins by first consulting with a client and discussing their problem. Together we determine the best solution for them given the circumstances and factors such as price, time, and the scope of possible solution options. The most rewarding aspect of this process is the transformation of something that is problematic in their lives , to something that becomes a source of pleasure and joy in their lives.

My high level of professionalism and thorough understanding of construction solutions, techniques, and materials are always appreciated by customers; but it's my use of unconventional methods or materials that keeps them coming back for more. For example, I recently worked on a remodel in Philadelphia where the house was over 100 years old and I used original items discovered during the demo to create little details and cool features in the final product. An original hot water heater from 1897 was made into a planter, as well as various blacksmithed iron accents that were incorporated in the endproduct, in this situation the door of a wood burning stove and fixtures used for lamp oil were repurposed as functional pieces in the kitchen area. it was a lot of fun for everyone.

Frequently asked questions

Although it is almost essential to physically see a job before giving an estimate, the pandemic has forced us all to make changes across the board, in both our personal, and professional lives. With that being said, a new customer consultations is generally done using smartphones via text, chat, pics, and or video. Once I am able to determine the scope of the job in question I will explain to the customer my opinion of what should be done and the costs associated with said construction solution. If everything seems kosher I will then submit an estimate and job order which outlines each step of the job. If the job order is acceptable then the customer signs the work order and I get a deposit (if necessary) and begin working.

Both my father and uncle are master carpenters with 35+ years in the carpenters union. I am a graduate from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA and have owned numerous businesses from breakfast shops to corporate consultanting. I found working with my hands is most rewarding for me and it comes rather easy to me when I plan properly. I've been building and remodeling houses and commercial properties for almost 5yrs and have been in the construction business on and off for over 20 years.

I treat each job individually because there is because there's always certain nuances that are pertinent  to that particular job, apart from materials, I generally charge $150 per day.

I first got started in construction in 8th grade when I would go to jobs some weekends and pull nails and such for my uncle, by high school I would be told to review jobs and find any flaws and bring them to his attention. I began  to do construction for myself after I graduated college I got into the bagel business with my brother and we built two stores from the ground up.
