Her dedication to make things work for our pup and us. She’s very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. I like that we are still connected because I learn more from her on her FB page.

I loved Elaine from the start. Her voice on the phone was direct and kind. When she arrived at our house the following week, (today), she immediately took our dogs and taught them how to stay near her on her terms while talking to us about our questions and concerns. The first thing I thought was, “that’s wonderful but I’ll never be able to do that.“

She recommended specific collars (cheap cost on amazon) and gentle leads. We have a 6 and 4 month old labs, and though good dogs, not trained at all, despite our own best efforts.(of course we didn’t know what we were doing). After hearing our concerns, (the biggest one walking our dogs without them pulling and charging out and in the front door), Elaine modeled for us what to do. She was the perfect balance between disciplined and kind. Again I thought, “great, but I won’t be able to do this.”

Well, I did it.

We went inside and worked on counter surfing, boundaries, etc. I had tried a school with other dogs but left crying because I didn’t know how to lead my dog. She is teaching me this critical beginning. Without it I would be moving down the same path of inefficiency...to the detriment of my dogs growth and sense of balance.

The real test was when she left and we took them to the dog park. We were like two nervous parents bringing our human children home from the hospital.

We implemented everything she showed us...and wow!...they were calm and walked beside us, waited to be invited in the car, and didn’t drag us into the park.

It’s like watching the dog shows and saying “how did they learn this so fast??”

She knows exactly what she is doing and she adores dogs. Please call her if you really want to teach your dog how to be a member of your faMily with you as the leader. It’s the best thing you can do for them because they will feel so much more balanced.

Elaine is the exact person I imagined working with my puppy. She is direct yet calm and gets the job done. She is firm and fair. I have been pulled many directions by different people regarding my puppy’s behavior and as knowledgeable as I am with animals, I let others’ thoughts mess with my mind and beliefs-everything Elaine did was 100% what I knew and wanted to do all along, yet I also learned new information. I am RELIEVED and now will absolutely stick to what we did! The best part is that she is hands on in a good way. She shows you the ropes with your pup and then you have to do the work with your dog too. You get trial and errors and immediate feedback for a long duration. She corrected all the little nuances that I wasn’t even aware of that I was doing physically that could impede my puppy’s education. She did it didn’t make me feel bad about myself or my pup, she just got the job done. I called Elaine because I participated in a pet store training the day before and left practically in tears due to lack of feedback, lack of new information, and display of favoritism. I had one session with Elaine and I now feel EQUIPPED to handle the issues I wanted addressed and reassured that my puppy is a good puppy who just needs a strong leader. I’m looking forward to the next sessions! Highly recommend!

Elaine set the atmosphere with my dog as soon as she got out of her car. The information and instruction that she provided to us has already made a world of difference with our Bailey. She trained us to be consistent and with the goal of Bailey being calm and submissive. He finally doesn’t feel that he has to be the leader. She was even nice enough to give a woman that we encountered in the park, a few tips about her dog, and the woman took her phone number !! I’ve already recommended her to two of my neighbors and I’m looking forward to her coming back next month to see our progress. This was money very well spent. Thank you Elaine!!!
