The goal of Dog Owner Guidance

is to help keep dogs out of shelters by educating and supporting their humans.

Promoting positive methods of training and behavior modification because they are effective, build trust and, unlike harsher, compulsion methods, cannot cause pain, aggression or fear in dogs.

When people bring home their new dogs, they often have no idea what to do or where to turn with questions and concerns.

Dogs are often returned to shelters for problems that could have been prevented in the first place or that could still be remedied.

Hi my name is Gary and I'm the owner of

Dog Owner Guidance.

I reside in Delaware County, PA with my wife Colleen. We share our life with Freya, a Great Pryenees

Sandy, a Beagle & Finn, a Retervier mix.

I'm a graduate of CATCH Canine Trainers Academy, a state-licensed, 10- phase course in dog behavior and training. Including hands on training, behavior fieldwork. A program that promotes hands free positive reward based dog training.
