Grooming Price includes..Ears cleaned Nails cut shampoo and conditioner and any style haircut you prefer. Over 25 yrs experience grooming dogs and 15yrs experience as vet tech.specializing in older dogs and,harder to handle,dogs. To me,they just need,a,gentler approach to get the job done. Patience and a gentle trusting hand is usually all it takes. Your pet will be finished about an hour and a,half to 2 hours at most. Seeing a smile on the dogs face after the grooming. They feel so good and they know they look there best. Nothing more rewarding than a dog who comes in with hair a mess and tangled not looking there best with there grumpy face. To a dog with fresh clean hair and his head held high with a big smile! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a consultation with them and get to know there pet and figure out what the best haircut would be for them and what exactly the owner wants. If there's anything medical I should be aware of. If there pets allergic t o anything and if we need to use a hypoallergenic shampoo. Basically discuss the grooming process from start to finish and see what questions or concerns owner has
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been grooming dogs for over 25 yrs and for the past 18 at a vet hospital. ,were I have also done alo t of technician work
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Dogs under 35 pds( Yorkies, shihtzu, Maltese,toypoodles etc.are 70+ and over 35pds are 80+ depending on matting hair coat . A Springer spaniel, cocker spaniel, mini doodle, Bichon would be in that category. Goldendoodles , standard poodles, Burmese mountain dogs, sheepdog, aussies are all 90+ depending on coat condition. All of these prices are sight unseen and can Cchange.
