What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you choose me as your pet’s caregiver? Your pet will be showered with love & affection in whatever manner your pet prefers! (Some like a lot of hugging & jumping & some prefer a quieter hello!) My main objective is to keep your pet calm & comfortable, as if you were still right there! I do prefer to meet your pet BEFORE you need to go wherever you need to go, do whatever you have to do! We, you & I, want your beloved pet to feel comfortable & safe with me! Hope that’s ok! I will NEVER discipline your pet physically! I do not hit, yell or scream~I do not work like that! Positive Re-enforcement !! Never ever hitting!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Unfortunately I have no ‘training’ or ‘degree’~just a lil over 30yrs experience taking care of lonely pets, sad pets-as well as happy, jovial, run around in circles full of energy pets!! Any type of pet! There is no pet too big nor too small to receive all the love & care I have~just as you would!!
How did you get started in this business?
Just kind of fell into it when I was younger!! It started when I was small! I would take care of neighborhood pets when families went on vacation, walk dogs for folks who worked, etc,etc!! Then it kinda took off from there! Once I had my children-I slowed down! Then stopped completely! My children have grown into adults & I thought maybe I would start again! It’s one ‘job’ I truly love!
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types! Families, Singles, Couples! Makes no difference to me!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My daughter & I enjoy doing Painting w/a Twist in Media! We do it pretty regularly! My home is covered w/all the pics! It is such a fun, family-older family-oriented! It is a way for her & I to relax & re-connect! She no longer lives at home so we get together a couple times a month just to enjoy each other’s company & chit-chat! We are a very close- knit family & enjoy being together-esp with our dogs!-I have 2 at the moment & my daughter also has two! There’s always room for more !!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I believe you should ask for Vet recommendations! (I can provide!). Also it would probably be a good idea to have your pet meet with whomever you do decide to hire! It is stressful enough for your pet when you leave! Take some anxietyout of the situation by doing a meet & greet or two! It wouldn’t hurt to ask for referrals! Remember this is YOUR baby!

Any question that enters your mind! It’s YOUR beloved pet-NOTHING is out of bounds’
