About

We are a full interior design service.

I have been a designer for 25 years with a BFA from School of Visual Arts NYC. That said, I pride myself on being very approachable and usually have long term relationships with my clients, working together, and discovering what is important to them, to achieve the home they invisioned.

I love working with people and creating a beautiful space for them.

Thinking out of the box is my trade mark, and solving an issue with good design is what my clients appreciate about me.

Frequently asked questions

I make a visit to thier home and have a look around ,then sit down to discuss the project, budget and priorities. Many times I can instantly come up with several solutions that would work, and through discussion can filter what their personel style may be.

To many people , a beautiful design is the priority, others may want function over design, so it's important to establish their personal goals at the first meeting.

I have a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in NYC

An associates degree from Parsons NYC

Starting as an art director on Madison Ave, I developed an eye for the subtlies between colors. I went to Parsons at night to become an interior designer, which I felt was my true calling. Then joined Ethan Allen and after 6 years formed my own firm.

I like to work with my clients within their comfort level.

If I am proposing a whole house, I usually charge an overall fee by the project. This would include everthing from start to finish.

Many clients choose to work as an hourly fee, this way they can do some of the work themselves and use me on what they feel they need me for.

Hourly consultation fee 85.00 per hour

My husband and I use to go antiquing together, and I developed a love for furniture and accessories. The next step was creating the right environment for our pieces. Since we were both art school students, it was a very natural jump to interior design. He is more of the collector, where the details of each piece is important. I am more the designer, thinking of the whole picture and putting the pieces together as a whole.

My expertise is residential interior design.

Most of my clients have one or two properties , and I enjoy a long term relationship with them. Also doing thier children's homes years later or face lifting the original house.

I also enjoy clients with a small budget as I love the challenge of making it beautiful, with my bag of tricks i've learned through the years.

I recently did a condo in Florida.I flew down once had 3 hours to measure everything then developed a full scale renovation.

We moved walls to open up the space, did over the kitchen, new floors throughout, and all new bathrooms.

The challenge was everything was going to be financed through Home Depot so EVERYTHING wa selected at there.

I worked closely with the kitchen designer and did the whole project by email.

Before you start, know what the designer will charge and what you will get. Will they give you choices? Will you be able to work with them on a personel level? You will be spending many hours together, so if you don't click, move on before you start your ordering.

What is your budget?

Do I need everything all at once or can I do the project in stages?

Do I need window treatments

Do I have things that are staying that I can use .

What is my timeframe
