What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First to meet the customer to determine what it is specifically they are needing done. If everything is agreed on we can go ahead with scheduling.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
All jobs are different in sizes, amount of materials involved, and time to complete a specific job so it is hard to have a standard price. For most residential mowing, prices start at $40 (this would include mowing, edging, trimming, & blowing)

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask if they have insurance & remember the cheapest price is not always the best work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
A lot of times a customer can be shocked on a quote to do a job whether it's a clean up job or planting. Usually there is a reason for it being a clean up (neglect & overgrowth). Companies can't do a clean up job for the same price as a regular mowing service. Plants, flowers, trees, can add up quickly if there will be good amount. Do your homework so you will have an idea on what your project may cost.
