CAREER SUMMARY AND CURRENT OBJECTIVES
I have provided C-Suite level executive assistant and administrative support in a variety of industries to include corporate, non-profit, medical, and financial services. I’m proficient in Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Drive, Internet Conferencing, Internet Research, Social Media Platforms, and I type 75 words per minute. I enjoy photography but find even more enjoyment from manipulating and editing the images with software packages.
I retired in 2007 and am currently a self-employed artist and interior designer at Paseo Recycled Creations, located in the Paseo Arts District of Oklahoma City, OK. My objective is to secure a part-time flexible, position affording me the opportunity to contribute my skillset and experience while adding value to the operations of my prospective employer.

Part-time Contract Base Services provided for product demonstrations of relative high-ticket items. Most recently was recipient of a nation-wide contest recognizing the 25 highest sales revenue generators during the MCG’s Fitbit Smart-Watch promotional market campaign.

These assignments were accepted at my discretion and entailed providing brand ambassador and product representative services for a variety of industry products, along with participation in some runway fashion show events.
COLOR AND DESIGN CONSULTANT - CertaPro Paint Company, Denver, CO, 1 / 2004 – 1 / 2007
CertaPro Paint Company contracted with me to provide a $50 value one-hour complimentary color and design consult service to their residential and commercial client’s projects, both interior and exterior. Many of my private clients were acquired as a result of these consults and subsequent referrals.
INTERIOR DESIGN INSTRUCTOR - Arapahoe Community College, Denver, CO, 1 / 2004 – 2 / 2007
Created the curriculum and taught beginning and advanced interior design courses of eight-weeks duration offered at the college on a quarterly basis. Each student’s final project entailed the assignment to incorporate the skills and design principles presented in the course to achieve a transformed professional interior design result for a room in their home, which they could then implement on their own. Occasionally, I served as the college’s representative at local home and garden shows.
DESIGN AND SALE CONSULTANT
Kacee Fine Furniture, Denver, CO, 11 / 2003 – 8 / 2004
Managed my client’s comprehensive Kacee Fine Furniture experience from their initial showroom visit to the delivery and arrangement of their purchases, to include an in-home design consultation to ensure a result exceeding my client’s expectations.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT FOR PRESIDENT & CEO
National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Chicago, IL 10 / 2000 – 6 / 2003
Served as a contributing member of the chapter’s Senior Strategy Team (SST) tasked with development of all aspects concerning the chapter’s effectiveness, donor development and retention, and community relations. I was the president’s liaison to the Board of Trustees, donors, volunteers, staff, and clients. I regularly composed most of the correspondence, reports, and general communiques issuing from the office of the president, tracked the annual budget, and arranged all his travel. I coordinated all facets of the Quarterly Board of Trustee Meetings to, include: venue coordination, agenda development, menu planning, capture and transcription of meeting minutes, and monitored the follow-up status of all actionable items. Lead the chapter’s Training and Development Task Force, responsible for design, implementation, and teaching a three-day orientation program for newly hired administrative employees.
This position afforded me the opportunity to independently contribute, interact, and propose creative solutions across diverse areas of the chapter’s operation. Although the chapter’s personnel and Board of Trustee members came from a variety of high visibility roles within the community, the fact that there were individuals coping with MS among our staff and Board served to promote an environment of family and teamwork in our mission to overcome the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis.

Designed and managed my region’s vendor client accounts and designed tracking tools to monitor sales and product production. This position also involved scheduling and coordination of various plant paper machines along with global distribution and shipping coordination.
MARKETING ASSISTANT
New Mexico Capital Management 1/94 - 2/95
Provided marketing assistant support to five portfolio sales and marketing managers at the vice president level, I was their primary liaison to brokers and clients. I researched and compiled comprehensive sales/assets under management information for their client’s investment portfolios.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO SVP MUTUAL FUND MARKETING
Massachusetts Financial Services (MFS), Boston, MA, 9/90 – 1/93
Provided all administrative support to the SVP and coordinated up to 200 sponsored seminars per year for the Division’s marketing and sales managers, to include: project coordination, travel arrangements, menu planning, and the preparation /delivery of appropriate marketing materials.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - International Paper Company, Memphis, TN, 1 /89 – 6 / 90
Provided all administrative support and designed/managed comprehensive tracking tools to monitor the effectiveness and compliance of nine container plant regional general managers and regional controllers with respect to their daily, weekly, and monthly key performance status indicators. I consolidated volumes of data and region-wide data producing useful tools for tracking productivity of the Container Division’s industrial regions. Coordinated all aspects of meeting planning for regional general managers and regional controllers hosting their direct reports and the corporate headquarters.
MEDICAL SECRETARY TO CHIEF OF NEUROSURGERY
Semmes-Murphey Neurological Clinic, Memphis, TN,1/84 – 1/89
Performed all administrative support, transcribed patient medical dictation and managed all patient medical files. I also served as the director of the clinic’s 100+ employee Staff Development Program.
MEDICAL SECRETARY TO TENNESSEE STATE MEDICAL EXAMINER
University of TN Medical School, Memphis, TN, 8 / 72 – 5 / 95
Performed all administrative functions to support the Chief Medical Examiner for the State of Tennessee including, Dictaphone transcription of autopsy findings comprised of complex medical and forensic pathology terminology. I utilized a specialized systematic nomenclature required for the coding of toxicology reports. I was also the point person receiving and holding physical crime evidence from local law enforcement.
